Mirror Android to Fire TV
Fire TV can receive Miracast, which many Android phones send as Smart View, Screen Cast or Wireless display.
This guide uses the mirroring built into your phone. Phone browsers cannot share the screen, so MHL Mirroring is not needed here.
Step by step
Start mirroring on the Fire TV
Hold the Home button on the remote and choose Mirroring. The TV waits for a device.
Open Quick Settings on the phone
Swipe down twice from the top of the screen.
Tap Smart View or Wireless display
Pick the Fire TV from the list.
Watch on the TV
The phone screen appears. Press any remote button to stop.
If it does not work
- Fire TV not listed: some newer Fire TV models dropped Miracast; check for a Mirroring entry first.
- Pixel phone: Pixels do not send Miracast; mirror from a computer with MHL Mirroring instead.
Mirror straight from your browser
Try MHL Mirroring on your own screens
Open the receiver on the TV, the sender on your computer, and connect with a 6-digit code. Free, peer-to-peer, nothing to install.
