Mirror a computer to Fire TV
Fire TV devices can run the Silk browser, which is all the receiver needs. Open it on the TV, then connect your computer with the code.
Step by step
Get Silk Browser
If Silk is not on the home screen, search for "Silk" on the Fire TV and install it from the Appstore.
Load the receiver
In Silk, open /receiver. The TV shows a 6-digit code.
Open the sender
On the computer go to /sender, choose Fire TV and Stick and enter the code.
Connect and share
Press Connect, pick Entire Screen and press Share.
Watch on the TV
Use the fullscreen and sound buttons on the Fire TV player.
If it does not work
- Silk will not install: some regions hide it; search "Amazon Silk" in the Appstore.
- Stutter on older sticks: choose 720p and 30 fps on the sender.
- Code rejected: reload the receiver for a new code.
Mirror straight from your browser
Try MHL Mirroring on your own screens
Open the receiver on the TV, the sender on your computer, and connect with a 6-digit code. Free, peer-to-peer, nothing to install.
